Our standard off-the-shelf augers have met or exceeded the needs of the Food, Pharmaceutical, Health & Beauty Aids, Chemical, Industrial and Tobacco industries. Materials in the Food industry such as; Biscuit, Cake & Pancake Mixes, Spices, Cocoa/Chocolate Mixes, Instant Drink Mixes, Milk Powders, Ground, Instant, Bean & Agglomerated Coffees, Puddings and Rice & Grains to name a few.

Flighting & Helicoid
Flighting
We manufacture augers using two fundamental techniques. Either combining a shaft with a helicoid and welding or by machining. Many of our augers are precision machined from solid stainless steel which provides;
A concentric outside diameter to root diameter eliminating premature wear
Exact flight pitches for accurate and gentle product metering
Elimination of pits and crevices from fabricating and welding offering a sanitary construction approved for food and pharmaceutical applications.

Materials must flow at a specified rate or your production slows, threatening your bottom line. Standard Gravity Type Can Twisters
Augers Unlimited twisters designed for bright cans (unlabeled or undecorated) are made of stainless steel halfround rails which reduces the co-efficient of friction for maximum efficiency. Twisters designed for decorated (labeled or litho) cans are made with stainless steel flat stock allowing the can to pass through the twister running on the can chimes and not the decoration.
The degree of twist is dictated by your requirements and is normally 90°. The standard 90° twister, either right or left hand, is typically 24 inches over the rings. As the degree of twist increases beyond 90°, the length increases proportionately.
Three types of twisters are available. The most frequent used is the can righter which is made with the rings level at the top. The can enters in a horizontal mode and discharged in a vertical position. The can tumbler is made with the rings level on the bottom and again accepts cans in a horizontal and discharges in a vertical position on the same plane. The directional twister is used in vertical applications to rotate the can from one direction to another.
Twisters may be furnished with or without "tails" (the extension of the rails beyond the rings) based on your requirements. They may also be made with various fastening fittings such as angle clips, threaded studs, etc.
